Values can broadly be defined as enduring beliefs that
influence behaviour across most situations.
Whether an organisation has defined their corporate
values or not, codes of conduct or behaviour demonstrated
collectively to a large degree create an organisations
culture.
Many organisations articulate their corporate values
however when these are not supported with behavioral
examples to illustrate the vision they lack meaning
and understanding within the organisation, becoming
little more than words on the wall in the company foyer.
To affect cultural change or create a strong corporate
culture values must be translated into behaviours that
have meaning to all functions and levels within the
organisation.
Odin’s values programs;
- Define Corporate Values
- Put meaning to the values in terms of demonstrable
behaviours at all levels
- Link these behaviours to expectations of high
performance in roles
- Link to the organisations performance management
system
