Strategy Development

Odin has developed a rigorous process to assist its clients to develop, articulate and implement their organisation's strategy.

Often an organisations management has the knowledge and the desire but lacks the framework to bring their ideas to fruition. Odin works with its clients taking them through a tested and proven process of strategy formulation.

It is expected that the framework become a part of the organisations planning process for years to come rather than a one off exercise. For this reason Odin’s role is to facilitate the learning for organisations management.

The involvement of Odin consultants will vary from client to client. From the outset, the roles and expectations of both parties are established.

Using Odin’s strategy Development Programs, Odin consultants coordinate and facilitate a series of workshops with a company’s management team that will first define the company’s business strategy and then develop a series of very clearly defined action plans to achieve the organisation's strategy..

However our underlying philosophy is that a robust strategic plan is best developed and implemented by the organisations managers. This will create organisational and individual learning, gain “buy in” and lead to a lasting benefit.

Odin’s involvement will vary on a case by case basis. Strategy is executed through people and Odin will ensure its clients have their people aligned to their strategic intent.


Strategy Implementation


A strategy has been developed. Who will implement it? Are the people in your existing team in the right jobs to make, lead or execute the necessary changes?

Often when an organisation changes its strategy a new knowledge and skill base, and type of employee may be required.

Odin can assess the existing team and provide guidance to management that would include whether redeployment, outplacement, development or recruitment is necessary. Odin can then facilitate the desired changes.
