
Odin offers individually tailored programs to address
the needs of client organisations in the areas of Leadership
Development and Executive Coaching.
The Odin Leadership Development program encompasses
combinations of individual assessment
and personality profiling, competency based leadership
trait analysis, 360 degree reviews, and face to face
meetings to gather information on the strengths and
development needs of the individual leader.
This information then forms the basis of coaching and
development initiatives. The Odin Consultant works closely
with each individual leader to provide ongoing feedback,
support and mentoring, as well as providing assistance
to the Leader in the formulation of action plans to
address areas for development.
Where there lies a need for Executive Coaching, Odin
uses a number of assessment
and evaluation tools to gather information to feedback
to the Executive. These may include personality profiling,
face to face meetings with staff members, and meetings
with the client’s client as part of the 360 degree
review, in an effort to create a total picture of performance
and leadership.
The Odin Consultant acts in a coaching role with the
executive, providing candid feedback, assisting in the
development of plans to address areas of need and acting
as a sounding board for improvement initiatives. These
programs typically last from three to six months.
These programs are aimed at both newly formed teams,
and established teams who are looking to grow and develop.
When any new team comes together there is a well known
“forming, storming, norming” process, that
precedes the all important “performing”
stage.... This transitionary process is can often take
over six months, impacting on the productivity and motivation
of individual team members, as well as the manager.
The time taken to develop these team behavioral norms
is “lost time” to a company that negatively
impact business results.
The Odin Team Development program seeks to rapidly compress
the forming, storming and, norming processes into one
or two workshops in quick succession, rapidly bringing
the team together and establishing defined norms that
reflect the company’s ideals. By shortening the
process, the team can focus on what it needs to achieve
not how it interacts. Team and business results will
improve.
The program very quickly identifies team development
areas and gains commitment for team based action plans
formulated in line with the company strategy to achieve
superior results. Odin can assist with the implementation
of action plans on a “needs” basis.
Odin Team Development programs can precede or be supported
by Individual Development Programs. Managers and Team
Members can use the insights gained through assessment
in a facilitated workshop environment to focus on individual
strengths within the group, and the synergies these
create for the team as a whole. Development plans focused
on addressing the needs of individual team members are
critical outcomes of this program. These plans are supported
by Odin Consultants who act by supporting and mentoring
to assist employees achieve a sustainable performance
